Kelmarsh Hall and Gardens
Kelmarsh Hall and Gardens is the kind of venue that ticks every box for a romantic countryside wedding. Located on the Northamptonshire/Leicestershire border, it’s super accessible – just 15 minutes from the M1/M6 and only an hour’s train ride from London – making it a fab option for couples with guests travelling from far and wide.
The venue itself offers so much flexibility. The main house is licensed for civil ceremonies and can host up to 100 guests for a sit-down meal, with room for 150 in the evening. Fancy something bigger? The South Lawn is perfect for a luxury marquee or tepee setup.
And while there isn’t accommodation on-site, Kelmarsh has you covered with a taxi transfer and overnight stay for the couple at Church Farm Lodge, just down the road. It’s these little details that make it such an awesome wedding venue!

Let’s talk about the walled garden – hands down one of our favourite spots of the day!
Nicole had mentioned beforehand how much she wanted photos here, and honestly, we completely get why. The explosion of colour was unreal, with vibrant blooms everywhere you looked. We loved how it all felt so alive and full of energy.
As always, we were guided by the light, and the garden didn’t disappoint. The way the sun hit certain areas created these beautiful, soft pockets of light that gave the photos such a dreamy vibe. It’s one of those places that feels like it’s been made for photography – every corner offers something a bit different.
Nicole and Joe looked absolutely ace together here at their wedding at Kelmarsh Hall, and it was epic to capture such genuine, happy moments in such a cool setting.
Nicole and Joe’s Outfits and Style
Nicole and Joe absolutely nailed their wedding day style. Nicole had two dresses – yes, two! – and we were obsessed with both. The first was super stylish and timeless, while the second brought a bit of a playful, modern vibe.
She looked amazing in both, and the outfit change added such a fun twist to the day!
Joe’s look was just as epic. He went for a mix-and-match vibe with a jacket from Charles Tyrwhitt and trousers from Warwicks, and the whole thing came together perfectly.
It was stylish without being too formal, which suited their relaxed vibe to a tee.
Together, they looked like they’d stepped straight out of a magazine – proper legends! Their outfits definitely added to the overall feel of their wedding at Kelmarsh Hall, making everything feel effortlessly cool yet totally personal.

Nicole found her dream dresses at Natalya James Bridal, choosing pieces from Madi Lane. Both were absolute winners.

Romae from Grace Florals created the most beautiful arrangements. With her signature wild, elegant style, the flowers felt organic and romantic – totally in tune with the day.

James brought the vibes with his piano and singing. What an incredible talent!
