Alice and Josh’s Legendary Wedding at Plum Park Manor

As their wedding photographers at Plum Park Manor, when we say Alice and Josh’s wedding was legendary, we mean it. These two are the absolute definition of awesome. Their day at the incredible Plum Park Manor was packed with moments we’ll never forget, a loopy Labrador, Tinder trivia, and all the good vibes you could ask for. Honestly, we’re still not over it.

Plum Park Manor was the perfect backdrop for their wedding day. A gorgeous Victorian manor surrounded by gardens and parkland, it offered a stylish yet relaxed atmosphere that was entirely fitting for Alice and Josh’s personalities.

This venue has spaces for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies, it really ticks all the boxes. Whether you’re after formal or informal, Plum Park Manor has you covered, and we could absolutely see why Alice and Josh fell in love with it.

But let’s not forget the stars of the show (after Alice and Josh, of course)… their beloved Labrador, who had a starring role and enough energy to rival a room full of toddlers on a sugar high, and their brilliant love story, which started on Tinder.

From swipe right to wedding day, these two have a story worth celebrating, and their day was just as epic as they are!

Let’s talk about Alice and Josh’s legendary wedding at Plum Park Manor.

Why Alice and Josh’s Wedding was awesome

Right, let’s break it down. What made this wedding at Plum Park Manor such a legend-worthy event? First up, the vibe. Alice and Josh are two of the most down-to-earth, fun-loving people we’ve had the pleasure of photographing.

They created an experience. From their laid-back attitude to their quirky sense of humour, the whole day felt like a reflection of their relationship.

The ceremony was lovely and personal, thanks to their amazing celebrant, Debra Massey. Now, here’s a plot twist for you — Debra wasn’t originally supposed to officiate. Nicola, another incredible celebrant, had to pull out at the last minute due to a car accident (don’t worry, she’s alright!), but she sent over her script, and Debra absolutely smashed it.

She brought her unique flair, putting on a ceremony that was equal parts emotional and joyful. Seriously, it was a masterclass in celebrating love. And nobody would know about the midnight chaos from the night before!

The Wedding Venue

Then there’s the venue. Plum Park Manor is incredible, with its beaut  interiors and beautiful gardens.

The ceremony itself took place in their gorgeous orangery  space – a picture-perfect setting, complete with a light breeze and blooming flowers.

And let’s not forget the reception space, where 180 guests enjoyed a sit-down meal in a beautifully decorated room that was epic but also so cosy.

And of course, the stars of the day (besides Alice and Josh) included their legendary Labrador as a ring bearer, who had everyone smiling. Watching their beloved pooch run around during the ceremony and photos was nothing short of adorable. Huge advocade for dogs at weddings over here!

Every wedding needs a four-legged guest like this one!! Full of personality and just the right amount of chaos to keep things fun.

Wedding Suppliers and Details

As for the little details at this wedding at Plum Park Manor, everything was properly thought out.

Alice looked absolutely stunning in her @grace_loves_lace dress from Serendipity Bridal, paired with a soft, romantic hairstyle by @katelodgehair and flawless makeup by the talented @mariellarodhousemakeup

Meanwhile, the florals from @elworthy_flowers brought the whole look together with a dreamy mix of colours and textures.

And let’s not forget their love story. Their journey from a Tinder match to a married couple was celebrated throughout the day, with cheeky nods to their app-based beginnings incorporated into speeches and decor. It was such a lovely way to remind everyone how their story started and how far they’ve come.

Lastly, their guests were absolute legends. The dance floor was packed from the moment the music started, and the laughter and energy never dipped for a second. We love a wedding where everyone just gets stuck in, and this crowd did not disappoint!

Honestly, it was hard to say goodbye at the end of the night. We left this wedding at Plum Park Manor with full hearts, buzzing energy, and memory cards packed with incredible photos.

Their Wedding Photography at Plum Park Manor

Now, let’s talk about the best part (for us, anyway)…being Alice and Josh’s photographers! Our goal is always to blend in with the day. We’re there to hype you up, make you laugh, and catch all those beautiful, spontaneous moments that make your wedding unique to you.

At Alice and Josh’s wedding, we were basically part of the family by the end of the day (or at least that’s how it felt!). One of our favourite things about this job is when guests assume we’ve known the couple forever. That’s exactly the vibe we aim for – approachable, friendly, and totally in tune with the energy of the day.

We’re not afraid to get our hands dirty (or shoes muddy, in some cases) to capture the perfect shot. Whether that means lying on the ground to catch a perfect angle or hyping up the couple during their couple’s portraits, we’re all in. We like to keep things pretty light hearted, no awkward posing sessions from us!

Alice and Josh made our job so easy because they were so relaxed and full of fun.

We also had the doggo  joining in for some shots, which, let’s be honest, instantly made it 100 times better. Who doesn’t love a dog in wedding photos? The candid moments were equally epic!
