Kim and Stefan got married at the rustic South Farm, Royston. It was a super fun spring wedding, with movie decor on the tables and lots of cheery banter to keep guests entertained. We always love a South Farm wedding but this one was especially epic – These two are legendary!
The ceremony
The ceremony took place outdoors, and was bright and intimate, which was lovely. The ceremony included the couple being showered with colourful confetti. It was a fun occasion, full of lots of laughter.
After the ceremony, we went for couples portraits, which is such a great time for the newly married couple to have some time to let it sink in, and I got some happy photos as they enjoyed the afternoon. The weather at this spring wedding was all sunshine and blue skies, it was a beautiful day.
The spring wedding
The reception was held in the main barn. The venue is perfect for weddings because it’s so cosy and relaxed, and it’s got such a quirky vibe, especially in the gardens where the ceremony took place!
The decor was awesome, from the hanging lanterns and paper cranes (they were EVERYWHERE), the amazing table plan with individual tickets for every guest (just amazing) and the personalised globe guest book. We’re huge film lovers ourselves so to see all of this alongside with copper and bright colours – Well, everything just clicks. We have the most awesome couples.
The evening
After the cake cutting, everyone got straight on the dancefloor, and the card games began behind the dancefloor whilst Dan shot on the white wall ‘photobooth’. The live band had all the best tunes and their first dance was awesome too. Wouldn’t expect any different from these two!
The evening ended with a sparkler exit, which was just stunning, and everyone had a great time. The whole spring wedding was such a laugh, from the bride’s awesome dress to the awesome live band.
