Sarah went to school with Lara, but both Karl and Lara have become friends of ours, and even attended our own wedding in March 2016! Being an old friend, it was a special honour to photograph this wedding, and we were right to be excited as it turned out amazing!
Lara looked stunning in a Mark Lesley dress, finished with this sparkly belt and shoes. Make up was finished to perfection by Niki Lawrence, and hair was by Updo’s by Natasha. She carried one of my favourite flowers; peonies, tightly packed by Jessica Rose.
They had the simple marquee at the Millhouse dressed in subtle lanterns from ‘The Hanging Lantern company,’ and they really made a difference alongside the giant LOVE letters from ‘Smile Events!’ We see so many wedding venues, and we’re always in wonder of all the different ways couples decide to decorate the same place.
Myself and Sarah both shot the wedding, and we were looking forward to it from the day they booked us. It was an honour to be involved from the beginning – Thanks for having us, guys!
