Introducing, Mr & Mrs Bowman.
The bubbly was just getting topped up as Sarah entered the glam room. The girls were finishing getting ready, but it wasn’t long before Sarah spotted the STUNNING studded shoes. But wait, it wasn’t just one pair of shoes that caught our eye. It was TWO as Rachael had a pair of customised white Gazelle’s with Mrs Bowman embroidered on. We’re a sucker for personalisation, especially for a wedding!
Sarah also spied a stunning denim jacket with “Just married” embellished on the back, hung up ready for the evening.
Big hugs, big breaths and a big dress for our Rachael as the girls helped put together the final touches before leaving to head to the church. Her four bridesmaids looked incredible in lovely, one-shouldered navy blue, flowing dresses.
Rachel’s dad arrived ready to take her to the biggest day of her life in a beautiful, old Ford.
Quick hair check, make up touch up and a quick glass of fizz in a personalised “Mrs Bowman” glass and it was off to the church.
We nipped to the venue just in time to capture the guests arrivals looking very swanky in their bright colours for this gorgeous May wedding.
Guests settled in before hearing that glorious sound of the organ and it was time for Rachael to wed her husband-to-be.
It was a beautiful church service at St Brendan’s RC Church with Rachael and her Dad walking proudly down the aisle in front of all of their family, friends and loved ones. We witnessed a gorgeous ceremony with personal readings from close loved ones.
Capturing Rachael and Peter walking down the church aisle and back outside is one of our favourite memories of this day; seeing the loved up pair grinning from ear to ear.
Plenty of hugs, well dones and nerves out of the way and we were ready to head across to Bridge House Barn and their AMAZING tipi tents.
The sun shone as we walked across the luscious green grass and into a tipi tent filled with long tables, blue and white coloured lantons and of course, this season’s must have – disco balls.
Dan got the drone flying to capture all the guests in their glory at this glorious venue and Sarah took to the floor to capture the bridesmaids and the newlyweds.
The wind blew perfectly giving Rachael’s veil a blast of air and we captured it just at the perfect time delivering one of our favourite shots of the Summer.
We took a stroll around the grounds to capture the magic that is fresh newlywed life and took it back to the tipis for some more FUN group shots. We’re all about bringing good vibes to a wedding and capturing epic photos for you to hold on to forever. You can read more about our approach here.
Passion food were out and about serving some of the best canapés we’ve ever had as we took some more family shots before heading inside for the breakfast.
A huge cheer for the new Mr and Mrs Bowman and it was on to the speeches. Lots of tears and cheers (mainly from Rachael) and golden hour was fast approaching, calling our name for the favourite part of the day. We adore capturing these shots as the sun sets, calling it a day on the best day of your life and it also gives us as photographers, some EPIC light to play around with.
The dance floor was set and it was PARTY TIME, complete with a saxophonist and some of the best shapes thrown we’ve seen for a while (yes, we’re looking at you golden oldies!)
We had a fantastic day with Rachael and Peter and adored capturing their big day!
Cheers.
