FILM BASED BARNS HOTEL WEDDING – STEPHANIE & TOM

COLOURFUL WEDDING WITH LOTS OF COLOUR, AND LOADS OF GEEKY FILM AND SERIES REFERENCES!

Stephanie and Tom got married in the summer at the rustic Barns Hotel, which is an old barn in Bedford. It was the most beautiful wedding and the sun shone all day long, we do love a Barns Hotel Wedding!

The excitement before the wedding

Stephanie got ready at her mums house, and the atmosphere was full of excitement. She was wearing a awesome Tatty Devine necklace and having her make up done when Sarah got there, so she spent some time getting to know everyone, and styling those details! The wedding party then jumped into a fancy wedding car to get to the ceremony. The excitement really went uphill as we arrived at The Barns Hotel, for the bridesmaids especially!

The ceremony

The ceremony was an intimate affair at the barn. under lots of lovely fairy lights and surrounded by all of their friends and family. It was so personal and so emotional for them. Stephanie walked down the aisle herself, and the face on the pair of them as Stephanie walked towards Tom was just awesome.

The reception

The reception was in the same room at the venue. They chose Barns Hotel because it’s so cosy and relaxed and they could totally personalise it. It was a bit of a film geek wedding, which was awesome for us – Identifying all the different themes like Stranger Things and the like! I love shooting Barns Hotel weddings because it’s usually really got such a great atmosphere. The Barns Hotel is actually just a few minutes from our home, and we’ve seen a few personal events there too! With Dans mum’s wedding, Dan’s brothers wedding, and Sarah’s Dad’s 60th party!

They had drinks and canapes in the afternoon, and a funky DJ in the evening. They decorated the venue with flowers and movie decor, because they’re the couple’s favourite things. Each table had their own film name (Wayne’s world was one), and funko pops, and there was lots of little links to their favourite TV series about! Their ring box was Harry Potter themed, and there were lots of Wall-E bits about, too!

For dinner they had a roast dinner, which was loved by all the guests. The first dance was a romantic slow dance, and they finished off the evening with a huge buffet.

The couple

Stephanie wore a beautiful lace Belle and Bunty dress which cradled her pregnancy bump perfectly and suited her vintage style and Tom wore Navy suits from Next, and they looked so dapper. Stephanie’s flowers were reflective of the bridesmaids dresses with colours of purple and pink, and finished with a personal locket, and Tom’s suit was finished with a simple purple tie.

Stephanie and Tom’s wedding was everything I love about weddings and just the happiest occasion. Here’s their Barns Hotel wedding!
