Plum Park Northampton wedding – Emma and Sven

If you’re planning a wedding at Plum Park in Northampton, you’ll find tons of inspo from this wedding!

Emma and Sven got married at Plum Park, which is an old country house in Northampton with stunning grounds. It was the most beautiful wedding and the sun shone all day long!

The ceremony

The ceremony was an intimate affair with a lot of Sven’s family from abroad watching on zoom. During the ceremony they had a beautiful reading and it was so personal.

They decorated the area with TONNES of flowers, which we loved – The place smelt amazing as well! The reception was in the marquee in Plum Parks garden – We love this venue (and are so proud to be recommended suppliers there), because it is a small and intimate, family run wedding venue – And the family are awesome. Weddings at Plum Park are amazing, because the light is pretty epic around sunset across the back meadow.

Why Plum Park is a great place to get married

Plum Park is really peaceful and secluded, and is one of the loveliest places to get married in Northampton. The venue offers an amazing atmosphere for a wedding – and there so many incredible backdrops that are perfect for photos.

The afternoon

The couple had drinks and canapes in the afternoon, and an intimate family dinner in the evening. The day was so laid back and peaceful, all about family and friends and catching up with one another after covid. For dinner they had proper wedding grub, and the first dance was a good old traditional wedding shuffle. They finished off the evening with Jagerbombs all round.

The couple

Emma wore a classic white dress and Sven wore a navy suit and they looked really dapper. We were absolutely obsessed with the romantic florals that Ivy Amelia put together for them, too.
