Tewin Bury Farm Wedding Photography – Rebecca & Matthew

We had never had the privilege to photograph a wedding at Tewin Bury Farm before. I love working with regular venues as there’s something very special about revisiting the same place and discovering those lovely new spots for pictures that you’re not before come across– new textures, shapes and buldings that you’ve never discovered and that exciting hunt for that perfectly picturesque spot is something I adore about my job. New venues though, are a chance to see spaces with a new set of eyes for the very first time and go with your creative flow!

Rebecca and Matthew had met us before at a wedding fair and she had mentioned then about bringing her horse along for the day! I have photographed horses before with their owners in engagement shoots at various locations, and have been commissioned to photograph a horse for a portfolio – but never an actual bride in her actual wedding dress! Barney was such a delight though, and was very chilled – and when Rebecca launched herself up into the saddle, well I felt like a tourist at a national treasure – the Canon went into overdrive – it was amazing!
