Some weddings are all about keeping things perfectly polished and sticking to the plan. And then there are weddings like Rhianna and Caleb’s.
A relaxed, fun-filled day at Edworth Manor Farm in Bedfordshire, surrounded by their favourite people, awesome food, plenty of personality… and, because apparently a wedding day wasn’t exciting enough already, a rodeo bull.
Yep. A rodeo bull.
This was exactly the kind of wedding we love photographing as Edworth Manor Farm wedding photographers. The kind where the day is about actually enjoying yourselves rather than spending the entire thing worrying about whether the photos are happening at precisely 2:17pm.
And that meant we got to do what we love most, which is photograph the day as it happened, getting stuck into the fun while keeping an eye out for all those little moments in between.
I am going to tell you about Rhianna and Caleb’s relaxed wedding at Edworth Manor Farm .
A Wedding at Edworth Manor Farm

A relaxed wedding day at Edworth Manor Farm
Edworth Manor Farm made a brilliant backdrop for Rhianna and Caleb’s day, with plenty of outdoor space, countryside surroundings and lots of room for everyone to properly let their hair down.
There was a really lovely mix of beautiful, emotional moments and absolute chaos. Basically, the perfect combination.
The kind of wedding where you can photograph the quiet moments between the couple one minute and then turn around to find everyone throwing themselves into whatever ridiculous activity has appeared next.
And we are VERY here for that.
A day that was completely their own
One of our favourite things about photographing weddings at Edworth Manor Farm is seeing how couples make the day their own.
Rhianna and Caleb didn’t seem interested in creating a wedding that looked like somebody else’s Pinterest board. Instead, they filled the day with things they actually enjoyed and people they genuinely wanted around them.
From the flowers by Pick a Lily to the bridesmaids in Azazie dresses, handmade stationery and a family friend making the cake, there were loads of personal touches incorporated throughout the day.
And then there was the food…
Pizza, cake and plenty of good stuff
Because we firmly believe that wedding food should be talked about more.
BB Pizza and Christy’s Kitchen were on catering duties, which sounds like a pretty excellent combination to us.
There’s something about relaxed food at a wedding at Edworth Manor Farm that just works. People eating, chatting, wandering around and enjoying themselves rather than everything feeling overly formal.
And with a cake made by a family friend too, the whole thing had that personal, homemade feel that suited the day perfectly.
And then… the rodeo bull
Honestly, this deserves its own section.
A rodeo bull at a wedding is exactly the sort of thing that makes us very excited to have cameras in our hands!
Because when you’re photographing weddings at Edworth Manor Farm, you never quite know what the day is going to throw at you.
And those are often the photos that end up being some of the most fun to look back on.
There were plenty of opportunities for us to get stuck into the action, capture reactions and photograph people having the absolute time of their lives.
This is exactly why we love documentary-style wedding photography. You can’t stage this stuff!
The moments in between
Of course, amongst all the fun, there were the quieter moments too.
The looks between Rhianna and Caleb. The little interactions with friends and family.
The hugs, laughter and completely unplanned moments that happen when everyone is relaxed enough to forget there are cameras around.
That’s the stuff we’re always looking for!
We want your wedding gallery to take you right back there. Not just show you what everything looked like, but remind you exactly how it felt.
Photography and video that work together
We also provided video alongside the photography for Rhianna and Caleb’s wedding at Edworth Manor Farm.
Because we work together as a team, wedding photography and videography can happen seamlessly without it feeling like you’ve suddenly invited a small film crew to your wedding.
We’re able to work around each other instinctively, cover different parts of the day and capture things from different perspectives without constantly getting in each other’s way.
And because we’re both very much about keeping things natural, there’s no giant production taking over the dancefloor.
Just us, cameras in hand, quietly doing our thing while you get on with having an awesome wedding.
Bedfordshire wedding photography for couples who want to enjoy their day
Rhianna and Caleb’s relaxed wedding at Edworth Manor Farm was exactly the kind of wedding we love to photograph. Fun. Personal. A little bit chaotic. Full of brilliant people and loads of moments that couldn’t have been planned.
And that’s really what we’re all about.
If you’re planning a relaxed wedding in Bedfordshire, Bedford, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Hertfordshire or further afield and want photography and video that feels like having a couple of friends along for the ride, we’d bloody love to hear from you.
