Woughton House Wedding Photography – Milton Keynes – Laura and Matthew
It was a gloriously sunny day in Milton Keynes for Laura and Matthews wedding at Woughton House, a venue not too far from us! Its always a pleasure to work there, even more so now that its had a bit of an update – The lobby is like an upscaled version of our front room – Same paint, similar furnishings and stunning gold features. Very decadent, and we’re always happy to provide photography here!
The bride Laura was a true image of beauty in her stunning fitted dress, which was beautifully finished with a very delicate handmade headpiece by Miss Clnmmie. The bridesmaids looked suitably lovely in their Coast dresses, too!
The wedding ceremony took place at the church just next door to the reception venue, though the pair took a drive alone afterwards for a stylish VW entry courtesy of Pear Tree Weddings. With all your loved ones at your wedding, a drive around is always a nice opportunity to recuperate and spend a few moments alone with your new husband/wife before getting the party started, and this pair took advantage of that offering nicely.
A bit of a special guest at this wedding was Marley, Laura and Matthews gorgeous little girl. I always think having your own children at your wedding must make it extra special, if that is even possible! This wedding was indeed a family orientated affair, with Matt’s three brothers as his groomsmen/best men. Their collaborative speech was one to remember, and had their guests laughing and blubbing in the same minute.
Highlight of the evening, and potentially the entire wedding, is when Laura was chanted onto the dancefloor to show her irish dancing moves amongst her pals. What a joy it was to be a part of this wedding – Thanks so much for having us, you are amazing!
