WINTERS TALE COUNTRY BARN BUCKINGHAM WEDDING – RACHEL AND DAVID

IF YOU’RE PLANNING A WEDDING AT WINTERS TALE COUNTRY BARN IN BUCKINGHAM, YOU’LL ENJOY THIS WEDDING!

Rachel and David got married at Winters Tale Country Barn, which is a barn in Buckingham with countryside views. It was such a fun wedding and even the mad wind didn’t stop this lot from partying all day long!

The ceremony

The ceremony was a church service in a beautiful church. During the ceremony they had several beautiful readings from friends and family. It was really emotional – Just check out how these two glance at each other, its too much! Its in these fleeting moments we’re glad we made the decision to always work together as a pair. Two of us means we’re pretty much everywhere at once, usually. We just don’t want to miss the real moments, y’know?

They decorated the area with DIY signage and greenery, which was a lovely personal touch. The reception was in the barn at Winters Tale Country Barn – I love this venue because you can totally make it your own. Weddings at Winters Tale Country Barn are amazing, because the building is quite unusual – Very rarely do you find such an authentic barn, but still flooded with natural light! Its almost unheard of but its pretty epic. AND theres a dedicated cocktail bar upstairs 😉

Why Winters Tale Country Barn is a great place to get married

Winters Tale Country Barn is perfect for couples who want a chilled out wedding, and is one of the nicest modern barns to get married in the UK, we reckon! The venue offers an amazing atmosphere for a wedding – and there so many incredible backdrops that are perfect for photos. Huge, secluded fields, a long driveway as well as maturing gardens and a cute country manor house.

The party

The couple had lawn games (think giant jenga alongside an old school hilarious sports day) in the afternoon, a pal DJ-ing for a while, and then a wicked live band in the evening. Winters Tale has a perfect indoor space, its pretty huge really, but has a nice upstairs ‘chill area’ without being disconnected. For dinner they had traditional food with homemade fudge as favours, and the first dance was a romantic slow dance which descended into madness straight after! One of the most packed dance floors we’ve ever seen and … Well, we were right in the middle of it as you can see!

The couple

Rachel wore a classic white dress from Pronovias, and the wild florals looked amazing alongside the lace detail. David wore a custom made three-piece suit. Lets be fair, they looked pretty incredible, right?

The couple got in touch with us years ago, and their enquiry was really touching. They said they wanted a photographer who would be like a guest, and we loved that they were so relaxed! This is exactly what we aim for at a wedding – We want to fit right in and be mistaken for one of your pals – We’re not just photographers, we’re friends for life (sorry)!
