Georgina and Kyle got married at South Farm, which is a BEAUT self sufficient farm and barn in Royston. We got married there ourselves in 2016 so obviously absolutely love the venue and are thrilled every time we get an enquiry for South Farm. It was the most beautiful wedding and the sun even made an appearance!
The serious part
The ceremony was an intimate affair in the old dairy, surrounded by the most stunning locally grown flowers. During the ceremony they had several beautiful readings from friends and family. It was so personal. BEFORE the ceremony however, Georgina and Kyle snuck away for a ‘first look’ and to read personal vows to one another beforehand. It was intimate, beautiful and most of all took the nerves away around the ceremony. We snuck in some couple photos too whilst they both looked so bloomin’ fresh!
The old dairy was decorated with lots of colour in the forms of beauuutiful flowers, which we loved. It just looked awesome. The reception was in the main barn at South Farm – We love this venue; It’s so cosy and relaxed, and everyone loves the pigs! Weddings at South Farm are amazing, for so many reasons but a big one is – because the gardens are absolutely amazing all year round. Great for photos.
Why South Farm is a great place to get married
South Farm has a really vibrant atmosphere, and is one of the coolest places to get married in Royston. The venue offers top-class catering too and they grow all their own veg! Fully recommend the pea puree canapes. A delight!
The party
The couple had a drinks reception in the afternoon, and a live brass style band in the evening. For dinner they had proper wedding grub, and the first dance involved the wedding party getting on the dancefloor to get the dancing going rather than awkwardly shuffling in front of everyone. They finished off the evening with a sparkler exit which always makes for epic fun.

Georgina wore a slinky shimmery dress and Kyle wore an amazing navy velvet tux and they looked really dapper. Georgina’s dress had the most amazing bow detail at the back which was talked about all day – So *current* G!
The couple got in touch with me years ago, and their enquiry really intrigued us! They said they wanted a relaxed photographer, and we loved that they were so focused on having an eco-friendly wedding, tip top!
